It is a paradise for tourists who love virgin nature because Susiec is surrounded with primeval forests. The place abounds with leisure centres, tourist farms and camping sites. Many hiking trails have been marked out along the Tanew and Sopot Rivers; the clear and cold water of the rivers invigorates hikers on hot summer days. In the centre of the settlement there is a unique monument to Kargul and Pawlak (obviously behind a fence), the main characters of a Polish comedy entitled “Sami swoi” [“The Usual Crowd]]. Sylwester Chęciński, the man who made the film, was born in Susiec and often visits the place.
