The monument stands on the left side of Partyzantów Street, about 200 m from the Old Lwowska Gate. It commemorates the partisans of the Home Army of Zamość District, which comprised the Counties of Biłgorajski, Hrubieszowski, Krasnostawski, Tomaszowski and Zamojski. It is a 4-m obelisk with numerous inscriptions. The monument was unveiled on 12 June 1999.
