Information

The monument stands on the ravelin, in front of the New Lubelska Gate. Unveiled in 2003 it is about 3 m high and presents David the Psalmist holding a harp. The author of the monument is professor Gustaw Zemła. On the pedestal there is a fragment of Psalm No. 2, which reads: “The Lord is my light and my salvation”. The monument is a present from the “Page from History” foundation and commemorates the presence of Jews in Zamość.
