The gallery is located on the first floor and in the attic of the Szczebrzeska Tenement House in the Rynek. The BWA hosts exhibitions which present the works of outstanding Polish artists, including the works of painters, graphic artists and sculptors from Zamość and Zamość Region. The gallery has the largest Polish collection of illustrations for children’s books; it consists of about 3000 works of eminent Polish graphic artists. There are also paintings and drawings made by such artists as Jerzy Nowosielski, Tadeusz Brzozowski and Jan Szancenbach. The BWA Exhibition Gallery also sells works of art and organises soirees, talks, film screenings and art classes.
