It is one of the two facilities of this kind in the town. Built between 1827 and 1835 it originally housed barracks and a battery emplacement and now it houses Complex of Post-Middle Schools No. 1. Adjacent to the entrenchment there is an elevation of the ground with steep slopes; it is the former Bastion No. 6, which was destroyed during the liquidation of the fortress.
